GroupM subsidiary Maxus, has appointed Ben Shepherd to the newly created role of digital director. Shepard was most recently Associate Business Director at sister agency MindShare and remains one half of the duo behind the rather excellent local blog Talking Digital.

The Melbourne based position will be a national role for Shepherd and is part of the ongoing restructure of Australia’s largest media buying entity. Shepherd nominated iinet, Ford and Kraft Foods as stand out brands and digital executions that he worked on.

Shepherd’s role at MindShare will be absorbed by Ben Maudsley and Tyler Greer. MindShare business director Maudsley said that the company wide push to integrated digital across all segments is well underway with the evolution towards integrated operations scheduled to be 100% complete by the end of the year.
